Marty Larson

Executive Vice President

Marty Larson is the Executive Vice President for the Greater Dayton Area Hospital Association (GDAHA).   He is responsible for financial planning, assisting in strategic development and identifying emerging healthcare technology opportunities for member hospitals.

Prior to his current position he was the Executive Director for the Greater Dayton Area Health Information Network as well as the Collaborating Communities Health Information Exchange. He was responsible for the coordination of the Health Information Technology efforts that are going on in the Dayton/Springfield Ohio area.  He has worked with teams from the area hospitals on deploying the Health Information Exchange functionality that connect data content providers, physicians and the public.   He will continue to lead regional electronic healthcare data issues for GDAHA members.

Marty has 20 years of experience in health care. He has held positions as interim CIO, Revenue Cycle Manager, and as well as other financial positions. He has worked with an entrepreneur in the development of a software solution that helped doctors monitor class 2 drug usage for use in the Emergency Room as well as private practice.

Marty received his Master’s Degree from Antioch University McGregor in 2005 and undergraduate degree from Cedarville University.  He resides in Xenia, Ohio with his wife Sara and his son Noah.  He has 2 daughters Lydia and Tabitha who are married and reside in the Dayton area.
