Help me grow brighter futures

Help Me Grow Brighter Futures is our community collaborative program that provides early intervention service coordination, and services including the Nurse-Family Partnership, and Parents as Teachers.

The Help Me Grow Program

The Help Me Grow Program, in Montgomery County and across Ohio, is a broad system of services for eligible families with infants and toddlers, prenatal to the child’s third birthday.  They focus their education efforts, support, and advocacy on the following areas:

  • Healthy births
  • Child development to the fullest potential
  • Strong family units
  • Economic self-sufficiency
  • School readiness

The Parents as Teachers Program

The Parents as Teachers Program serves families with children prenatal to three years of age.  Home visits are conducted by a certified parent educator in the convenience and comfort of the family’s home environment.  The family can use the information provided to provide continued ongoing development.

The Nurse-Family Partnership

The Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) is a nationwide, evidenced based, community healthcare program.  The program pairs eligible first-time mothers with a specially trained registered nurse for home visits.  The nurse empowers first-time mothers to become confident parents and strong women and their children to be healthy and developing on target.
