Vice President of Health Initiatives
Lisa Henderson, MHSA, is the Vice President of Health Initiatives at the Greater Dayton Area Hospital Association. She is responsible for the Greater Dayton Advance Care Planning Initiative and its signature project “Decide to be Heard.” She also leads GDAHA’s role in the regional community health needs assessment and subsequent implementation plan. She has responsibility for grant research, writing and development in concert with member hospitals, Ascend Innovations, and the community.
Prior to taking this role with GDAHA, she served as the executive director for Dayton Children’s Health Partners, a pediatric-dedicated clinically integrated network that partners with independent pediatricians, specialists and payers. During her 15 years’ experience at Dayton Children’s Hospital, she also served as the director for business development, led the physician relations program, developed and led the laboratory outreach program. She has extensive experience in healthcare administration, business growth, strategic planning, operations and physician relations.
Lisa has her Masters in Health Services Administration from Xavier University and was a recipient of Women in Business: Woman to Watch award, 2013; Dayton Business Journal 40 under 40, 2011; and recognized for volunteer work with House of Bread, Junior League of Dayton and the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery.
