8.1 Billion Economic Impact
Because our members are experts in the delivery of quality care, we count on their guidance to help us establish a public policy agenda that specifically addresses our region’s concerns. We also collaborate with the Ohio Hospital Association and the American Hospital Association on these goals.
With an economic impact of $8.1 billion in the Dayton area, and more than 34,200 individuals directly employed by our member hospitals, our grassroots supporters recognize the value of our region’s hospitals. These local advocates are readily available to share their perspective with local, state and federally elected officials.
